Racial Equality Policy

The school has a Racial Equality Policy designed to secure the entitlement of students and staff from different ethnic groups on the school site. There is a Racial Harassment Procedure which will be explained to all students in September. Such
incidents are treated very seriously and reported to the Board of Governors and Local Authority. If your child witnesses any racist behaviours please encourage them to report these as a matter of urgency to help us keep the school safe and
welcoming to all.

Homophobia & Gender Issues

The school treats all students equally, respecting and valuing all members of its community. Therefore, homophobic or sexist harassment is treated with equal seriousness to other forms of bullying. Please support the school in encouraging tolerance and open-mindedness in your children. Any examples of prejudice or intolerance will be taken very seriously and parents will be notified.
