We are commited to promoting safe and active travel to and from school. This is important for the environment and also for physical and mental health.

Our local area benefits from excellent cycle and pedestrian routes as well as flexible public transport. We encourage students, staff and visitors to use sustainable modes of travel whenever possible and provide the following information to assist with your journey planning.

Public Transport

We are located approximately a 10 minute walk from 2 Metro stations – Monkseaton and West Monkseaton – and within easy reach of several local bus services.

Walking & Cycling

We are also located within easy reach of North Tyneside’s excellent ‘Waggonway’ network. Originally built to transport coal from local collieries to the River Tyne, they now provide nearly 30 miles of traffic-free walking and cycling routes.

Parking is available onsite for staff and visitors, however this is limited and there are times when the carparks will be very busy.

 Accessible parking is available, with allocated bays near to main reception.
